Historical Traveler Reviews Hotel Novecento Pisa

      Traumhaftes, modernes Hotel

      from

      from

      from

Super Entdeckung!

      A hidden treasure

      from

What a great find! Within walking distance to the leaning tower and restaurants but away from the hustel and bustle. We booked the family room which was quiet and opened out onto a lush garden. Rooms were modern and very clean with great bathrooms. Breakfast was simple but very enjoyable! I would definately stay here again. The only thing I regret is that we should have stayed longer.

      from

      from

      Fabulous stylish hotel

      from

We stayed at this hotel for one night only on our way to Florence. Having searched the net extensively, I definitely made the right choice. The hotel was beautiful, modern and stylish. Fresh flowers in the rooms and bathrooms, extremely modern bathroom and huge comfortable bed. If I had any complaints at all it would be that the AC was pretty noisy, but that would not put me off returning. Would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel without any hesitation and would stay here again if I go back to Pisa.

Un hotel fabuloso y con estilo

      from

Me volvería a hospedar aquí si regresara a Pisa.

      from

Clean modern hotel near tower with kind english speaking staff

      from

We had a one night lay over in Pisa and wanted a clean, budget hotel. We walked in and out of the door to many before finding the charming (and clean!!) Hotel Novecento. We arrived late at night with 3 of us and were shown to a modern clean room with lovely Etro toiletries and a flat screen tv. Full marks to the gorgeous shower with a massive head and loads of hot water. We were only 3 minutes walk to the duomo and tower, near to all bus routes and easy access to taxis for the morning airport run. There were loads of good cafes nearby but what sealed it was the charming gentleman on the desk for which nothing was too much trouble. 3 of us slept in luxury in this 3 star hotel for 30£ each - it was nice enough to return with my man for sure.

I was convinced they were going to gas us and kill us all but they didn't, they let us on our plane safe and sound. We all slept on the flight to Madrid, Kaleigh and everyone else (including myself) sleeping with our mouthes open and looking gross af. After we got to the Madrid airport, we needed to book an ALSA ticket for Josef who was dumb and ...

Today we had to say goodbye to our castle hotel and get on the road to Cinque Terre. On our way we stopped at Lucca and Pisa. At Lucca, we rented bikes and biked on top of the medieval wall that was built in the 1500's! It is about 40 ft wide and now a large park. We stopped for a picnic lunch too. I thought the city was really pretty. After that, we got back ...

... pushing/holding up pics, as this is really all there is to do in Pisa.

After that, we wandered around Pisa, ate gelato, and found a hilarious playground with mini-trampolines (see video below). There were a few other instances of shady individuals trying to get close to us but nothing too serious.

Around 5:30, we hopped a train to Florence, to catch our connecting train to Venice. This involved a bit of ...

So what is it with all these towers...I mean, this is a pretty small place to have had 72 towers....14 looks a lot when you see the skyline. Bickering is the answer! For two whole centuries, from 1300 to 1500, two rival affluent families bickered. The Guelphs and the Ghibellines decided to upset the peace in the town in a classic case of "keeping ...

We found a great deal on a 4 star hotel in Pisa - so off to Pisa we go for two nights.... The hotel was very avant grade - the rooms had black walls, ceilings and floors and the accents were blood red ( with white furniture).. We got a corner room that had windows floor to ceiling with a nice rural view. What a relief after spending a week in crazy, noisy Rome! ...
