... chain stores will have prices, which means foreigners always pay more. You're at their mercy. They don't gouge you too bad though, and if you know what things should cost, you can just walk away if you don't like the price. And many restaurants don't have menus or pretend they don't, so the same game is played with food at some restaurants. Although I see that less here in Istanbul.

Strangely, the food in Istanbul is cheaper than other cities ...
