... this is the big event and in September they have other fights but only for three days. The amphitheatre is about the size of an Aussie rules oval; 130 x 110 metres, has two tiers and can hold up to about 20,000 spectators. It is need of quite a few repairs but when you consider it was built in the late first century you can excuse this. It is good that it still functions as it originally ...

... ended up walking alongside a dyke. There in the water we saw a creature that we thought was a beaver but turned out to be a coypu, swimming.

Once in the park there was another tame coypu by the entrance. The park is made up of several ponds, with herons, coots and flamingos mainly.

there were also large cages with owls, eagles and vultures. One cage had a solitary stork in it. He looked miserable. But then we ...

i have been in agde in estern in my grandfather home. i have visited museums : haribo museum, school museum . . . it was boring. i have ate fish and octopus. the octopus was rubber, strange, gut. i have visited town, i have did shopping, i have ate many ice cream : vanilla, caramel, barbapapa, chewing gum, violet . . . i have been in sea every day. it was a wonderful travel !

This morning we boarded our first "First class" train carriage and it was a pleasant surprise. Not the push and shove of standard class, reclining seats ans all that.

we had to change trains at Figurines for the remainder of the trip to Barcelona and this too was first class with plenty of room and free headphones and music. ...
