... adventure in food though. I left my hotel around 1pm cuz the museum I was visiting didn’t open till 2pm. I wandered around for 45 minutes hoping to find a place that sold sandwiches so that I could easily snag one and find a place to eat. Unfortunately, they were all closed. ... we were able to see up close.

The privately owned Chateau of Touffou, parts of which date from the 1100s, was another excursion site. The manicured gardens are beautiful and we had the chance to explore ancient towers, prison cells and kitchens.

The Futuroscope is a theme park with the theme being technology and the future. This was an especially ...

... we crossed through some beautiful landscapes. Today's riding included lots and lots of vineyards - the downs of grapes were so neatly manicured and the bundles of grapes hanging from many vines were very tempting. Our first stop was in a little village with a cafe and patisserie - unfortunately the cafe wasn't open. We also needed a toilet stop - finding the toilet proved to be a challenge. The WC sign at the sports ground pointed in ...
