Mike tried to fix the solar panel but even with the new regulator it still wasn't charging the batteries. We left for home and just as we arrived Pete and Lorna turned up to check on the sheep as they had misbehaved themselves the day before, getting heads stuck in fences and jumping fences. Here endeth these ...

... in an authentic Parisian restaurant followed by a beautiful evening cruise along the Seine River and a visit to Montmarte. Our final day featured a trip to the incredible Versailles Palace, home of Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette. A lovely walk by Notre Dame Cathedral, and of course, some shopping for Peg. An amazing city! Now we're catching the very fast 300 km/ hour TGV train to Arras & the war memorials in northern France. Really looking forward to this. Bill & ...
