The Park Inn is centrally located and has good facilities. The staff were friendly although it took some time to get someone to open the room safe which was locked when we booked in. It would get the extra star if it had a guest laundry. The nearest laundrette is Brights Laundrette which is a 12 minute walk away.

There was a few nice sculptures depicting the Robin Hood legend and inside the mansion they had an exhibition of Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham and their stories and possible explanations about how the legend arose and who it could have been and if it was real or not. Somewhat interesting, had a few good things but it's not a must do, they also had an art exhibition going on ...
