The Park Inn is centrally located and has good facilities. The staff were friendly although it took some time to get someone to open the room safe which was locked when we booked in. It would get the extra star if it had a guest laundry. The nearest laundrette is Brights Laundrette which is a 12 minute walk away.

Woke up this morning from a really good sleep. The rain has come! Knew that beaut weather wouldn't last long! Breakfast was amazing, walked into the dining room to a table full of fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, pastries and then she gave me a full menu to choose from. Of course I ordered the English breakfast which was delicious! Couldn't go past having an almond and custard pastry too though. This hotel ...
... to stretch our legs. Stopped at a pub and had a drink and free wifi so was able to get in touch with Ross and the outside world. The sun then came out and it was quite hot. Tony bought a litre bottle of famous grouse for £6.95 which was very good . Back to azura and a spot of sunbathing before saying goodbye to gib and a shower to get ready for the evening ...

We went up to Manhattan and saw Andrew Browning who was a George Michael tribute act and very good, after that we saw an act in Mallabar and by the time they had finished it was gone 12 and not wanting to turn into a pumpkin we retired for the night looking forward to Gibraltar ...
