From the marble village we went to Apollonian. This ...

... mosaic in the sidewalk. It's quite an art. Many streets, sidewalks, parts of sidewalks, steps, and floors of buildings are covered in white and black pebble mosaics. Even the floor of the salon where we got our hair cut was one solid mosaic! Some will show a simple picture, some a pattern, some just a border and some just a conglomeration of tones. Some are very old and worn down in spots, some are new. All are beautiful. All make you glad you are wearing ...

... so obedient. It good to see these animals, there is also a very old duck that lives at the port, and the fishermen look after it. It wanders up and down, checking everything out. I can't see that happening at home.'Some numb skull would want to hurt it.

Brian, returned to the boat after lunch, and the girls explored their new treasure trove of shops. I had time to go and visit the local museum. It was very good, and most of the artifacts ...
