In the end, we got to the campground at about 6:45, only to have to drive back into town (only 2 miles) to get firewood, as they don't sell it in the park. We ate dinner at 9:30, but we ate it—fire roasted sweet potatoes and grilled salmon with mango-tomato-jalapeno salsa. It was quite delicious.

We wake up around normal time at 7:30am, and now because we are used to being the first ones up and not leaving the house at least until 11am, I figured I'd do some exercise. So I took my skipping rope, ankle weights and gym mat down their backyard stairs to a little paved area and pumped out some cardio exercises with a view of the forest and hills. The sun shining in through our blinds woke us up fairly early around 7am, so we decided to get up and start our day. We went down and had coffee and cereal, before Dave popped his head out also. We are getting used to be the first ones up now.
