We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

We decided to reserve a campsite at Donner Lake State Park for their stay. Sean was driving from San Francisco and picking up Jake at the Sacramento airport on his way. Unfortunately ...

... the hill” to home). It was wonderfully quiet, outside of the wind moving through the needles high in the pines (which also, and unfortunately dislodged pine pollen ((my new found enemy)). Outside of some periodic complaining, the kids had a nice time and we enjoyed the great outdoors and made if home in time to head out for some horse back riding.

... get hella more visitors if they installed an escalator. Just sayin’.

We did take the time to cruise through Bliss State Park and had a looksee into Emerald Bay campground and as far as our little flock is concerned Meeks Bay Campground has them all licked. All the campsites are an easy walk to a lovely sandy shoreline and the beach is quite bird friendly.

Ten days in Tahoe might seem like a lot, but there are ...
