... the Astros. Being the executive chef of the ballpark gets him some really cool memorabilia! We said some tough goodbyes, and departed Houston a little before noon. ... to be in good repair. The park we stayed in last night was excellent. There are "rails to trails" walking areas, a very nice municipal swimming pool, several historic exhibits and very nice green lawns. Last night was a good stay. Carol O., we really enjoyed visiting the town that you spent a lot of time in while growing up in this area.

We spent some "quality time" this evening at a Dillon food store - a chain which is owned by Kroger. Other than that, we didn't do a whole lot, as it was late afternoon before we arrived and got set up. All in all, not much to report!
... which we were thankful. There were fields with lots of beautiful cattle and, since we are rapidly approaching what is considered the west, many horses.
Since today was a travel day, we really didn't do anything all that exciting although we have had an excellent time. Once we reach South Fork and meet up with our children, we will slow down the milage and hopefully have some exciting adventures to share.
