    Touchdown on the other side of the world after 22 hours of airtime with a brief stopover in Hong Kong (but long enough for them to confiscate my penknife which had managed to sneak it's way through Heathrow!)I checked in at a grubby hostel in the city centre and spent the day trying to stay awake, which incuded lunch with a friend of a friend, and a walk to Mission Bay which gave me good views of the Auckland skyline.Booked onto the Kiwi Bus for a trip up north tomorrow!
