    ... activities included: the ferry from Pine Harbour to the city, a visit to the Sky tower (relieved I wasn't forced to bunjee jump off the viewing platform), a lamb lunch at the Marina and a visit to an extinct volcano - Mount Eden, with superb panoramic views of the city (see photos), and then finally home and bed by 8pm to kick jet lag straight in the balls.     ... it is of course difficult to reprogram oneself quite as quickly as one might hope to. There is, logically and inevitably, an interim period where change develops from an idea into something more tangible; my conscious has the desire to change, but my subconscious still feels safer resisting it and sticking to the good ol' routine.     It is great to be a kid!! As soon as it started raining this afternoon, the boys took off their clothes and went for a run in the rain.

    I didn't have quite the same appreciation for the rain today. I left the car's windows down during the earlier downpour...and then had to drive around with my bottom in a puddle. And then go around a few shops with wet pants...at least Ryan thought it was ...
