    ... an extendable backscratcher which he can also use to poke Hazel haha, and his card which i signed from all the family back home. Hazel then announced that Pat and I were going to Kelly Tarlton's (an aquarium) and she was going to see her friend who wasn't very well.     ... it's a spiritual place for The Maori people and often a place they travel to after someone's death. We started the trip in Paihia and headed north towards Ninety Mile Beach. It's named that because the first settlers estimated that they could travel 30 miles a day on horse back and it took 3 days to travel the length of Ninety Mile Beach.     Uneventful flight but not much sleep, arrived 6.00am Auckland, cleared customs then rechecked bags to Dunedin, flight departure delayed by half hour but made up time on the way down country arrived home 10.55am.
