Unfortunately the Dr Who Experience was closed (on Tuesdays) so we decided that we would go tomorrow but what to do today? We decided to walk back across the Marina Quay to Techniquest (like Scitech in Perth and Questacon in Canberra). We all had fun on the ...

      Pembroke Castle and Cardiff

Not a good start to the day, Ian was sick from food poisoning - possibly the beef and ale pie from last night.
It was only a short drive to Pembroke castle. The wind was blowing cold but the castle was well worth the entry fee. We climbed all the towers, walked all the walls, down to the cavern, looked in the dungeon, and up the spiral staircase to the top of the round keep. The castle was in ...

You really can get through anything with the help of your ...

What did she really expect! Next day woke up and chilled. People went for walks on the beach and Sophie and Sarah even went for a run. They weren't rude enough not to invite us with them on this run, ...

      Mary kicks the bed

Mary kicked the bed the day that we set off for Somerset, God help us ... (I'm channeling Red Gum's - "He was only 19", for those who remember this great Australian song).

The sun comes up here before 5am. Bloody big seagulls decided to have a stop work meeting or something on the landing outside our window at this early hour. Thankfully, someone must have dropped a bag of chips as they flew off before I dragged myself out of ...
