... chocolate, though it did have a store at the end so after staring at chocolate for an hour it was impossible not to buy any. Walking around the building after a big day yesterday and not the best of sleeps resulted in us getting tired pretty quickly. We decided to make the trip back to Caitlin's to watch some Sherlock and get an early night.

... end the day we caught up with two of Caitlin's friends in the area for a light show. We walked around with our beer and took in the beautiful displays then headed on for more food and drinks before calling it a night. We headed to our hotel in Nagoya and found a small room with basically just a bunk bed in it, though for $20 each it was more than fine.

Full of cheap junk and little food stands which we tried, strange ball shaped fried things which turned out to have a nice tenticle in the center, quite yummy really. It went on for miles, just streets and streets of little jampacked shops. We stumbled out and went on to the science museum. Really hands on things t do and play with there and we must have tried out every one. Exhausted, we head back to hotel and fall asleep ...
... cab even though the taxi driver didn't know where he going and took us to the wrong hotel but a little walk later we finally arrived, exhausted, smelly, dying for a shower and bed! It did feel a bit like cheating coming to a fancy hotel, especially dragging our huge backpacks in here, not like travellerws at all! But so glad for hot shower, privacy and clean sheets. had a peaceful night in the sleepy village of kiso-fukushima, and got the day started early with yet another japanese breakfast where more food than needed is served. I tried a bunch of new tastes, including mackerel. we explored the town, now finally dry, including a miso specialty shop, and a sake distillery, where my tastebuds fell in love with a particular vintage that unfortunately sold out everywhere.
