    It's Friday. And that means it's our last day at Birch Villa Resort on Cass Lake. To change things up a bit, we decided to join Dad in his boat and go over to nearby Crooked Lake with Paul's and Roy's boats. Beth also came along.     ... lost them. Within minutes, I had a very nice tug, and could tell this catch was not a pan fish. Tom got the net and landed my first (and probably last) walleye of the year. It was a nice-sized one too (17 inches), and a great way to end our morning.
