Arriving at Heathrow Airport at 7.00am when your body is telling you it's 2.00am calls for one thing and one thing only, once you've cleared Customs (which, in itself was a bit of a problem because we are doing a connect flight to Dublin so we are shuffled off into some side alley for clearance into the UK - well, we think it is the UK - or maybe it's a transitional step into Ireland - we are not entirely sure but, hey, we reckon ...
... distillery. Nick enjoys this whiskey very much, so he was pretty excited.
We walked up to the brewery and purchased our tickets for the guided tour. While we waited Nick and I took a look at the giftshop offerings. Hostel life can be a little boring so we purchsed some playing cards to keep us entertained.

My flight went through Amsterdam, which had a very modern and interesting airport, although I questioned the efficiency of them having a seperate metal detector and security line for each gate at the airport. I've never seen that before and it made it so I couldn't leave the gate area after I had been through security.
