knew and we had not seen any of the Medlicotts for over thirty years.



So off we went and located
the road. It is a narrow one lane gravel
road which goes about 1/3 the length of the 10mile long McDonald Lake. About half way ...

... the Waterton town before we left. On the drive we saw a Mother black bear and her 2 cubs near the town, our first bears in the park yeah!!!!! We said this made the whole trip worthwhile after driving all the way up and back the Red Rock Parkway which is famous for bear spotting as well as big horn sheep and seeing not a single animal.

Zach finally fell asleep just before we got to the US customs and border control…great we thought now we are going to have to wake him up ...

I am officially boring. I've, sadly, come to the conclusion that I am not great at killing time without the Internet. Not a good realization. On the 5th day of our journey, July 10th, we had nothing planned. Since we did Glacier National Park yesterday, we wanted to do the other side of the area, but what to do... ... border with Canada and is also known as "The International Peace Park". Yellowstone was the first N.P. in 1895 and Glacier came along in 1910. It became the IPP in 1932. This is also a World Heritage Site as of 1995. The park is immaculate. You don't see a piece of trash anywhere. So refreshing!!! There were three Indian tribes that existed in this area: The Blackfeet; the Salish and the Kootenai. We actually went outside the park ...
