The Cabot Trail is basically a day trip unless you choose to do various hikes which can add a lot of time (days). The scenery is very impressive. Significant changes in elevation from ocean level to the plateau area (approx 350m). The lunch restaurant was recommended to us by a young couple last night and the food was excellent. We visited the …

For me it was a fitful sleep as I woke every hour to change positions, that floor is pretty hard. Debbie and Jim said they slept pretty good for about 4.5 - 5 hours; they had the benefit of lying on sleeping bags. (I had intended to bring my thick blanket but when we heard the air conditioning was broken I thought it would be too hot. So I got ...

What a great night's sleep we all had! It's amazing what good fresh air, a long day in the car and lots of beer and wine can do! :) I am already worried if we brought enough wine afterall. It was supposed to be a slow night and yet we managed to polish off one large and one regular bottle! LOL! It has been a practice of ours to take pictures of all the campsites. I wanted to take a picture last night before it got dark but we were busy cooking dinner and then ...

... br> At one lookoff ( lookouts as we would call them) we must have encountered 20 lobster boats hauling in their catch for today, it was the last day of the season. They usually are done at the end of June but had an extension of 4 days due to the harsh winter and ice still around.

Got down and decided to head to Baddeck to take in the Alexander Bell Museum. It was very well ...
