North Shore Road Skegness, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom, PE25 1DN, 01754-763-298
We get up, have another delicious brekkie at the b&b and then head out through the country lanes. We see a sign from the road to a saxon cathedral and earthworks – so we go and take a look – it turns out to be ruins of North Elmham Chapel and there are a few picture boards dotted around describing the history of it.

After this we end up in Holt where we stop for tea and cake (this is becoming a bit of a ...
Wells next the Sea, England, United Kingdom travelmonsterThe B&B we are staying in is a small place, it has four rooms – two of which we are occupying. We go down to breakfast this morning and meet the other residents – a husband and wife with their mum. We order what we want for breakfast and it is freshly cooked for us, while we wait we chat to the other guests. Afterwards we head for the nearby village of Castle Acre, where we visit the old priory, which is now a ruin and in the hands of English Heritage. We pick ...
Titchwell, England, United Kingdom travelmonster... in the audience now laughed, Wow he was really going for it now but it was short lived and very soon the Hammond organ and ***** drummer took Ken into another song with granny smith behind me in accompaniment.... It was all I could take and at 8:02 we left the building, I had made it through about 40 minutes of Ken Dodd which was 39 more than I had wanted to so all in all I had done well.
I'm glad I had seen him with my own eyes and drawn my own ...

Skegness, England, United Kingdom madcaravannerThe basic criteria for a blog entry from my angle will be loosely dubbed an escape route from home, which involves at least an overnight stay in some shape or form, thus allowing a 2-night camping trip to a British seaside town to nestle alongside higher-budget and further-flung trips. With my trusty piece of canvas barely having been put to any use beforehand, pitching a tent at a campsite at the town of Burgh-Le-Marsh, on the ...
Skegness, England, United Kingdom jollyjetsetter... down wouldn’t be needed as it was already clean enough. As we moved the bike into the dangerous cargo area, Connie’s wreck…I mean bike…arrived.

Before taking it off the flatbed, I had a chance to look over the bike and the damage. It actually wasn’t as bad as it first seemed to me on the side of the road…mind you, I was in a different state of mind at that point. There was damage to the very front of ...
King's Lynn, England, United Kingdom kochwebb... can get anything to eat, providing its deep fried with chips. Lucky my cousin saved us from cholesterol overload by providing us with delicious meals. I visited my old home and was shown the actual room I was born in.

We then caught the train to York where we are staying for the next four days. "ee, ain't it grand"
Skegness, England, United Kingdom neverold... they all… So load-in, and then looking for fooood… Our rescue was the same restaurant chain we had trusted in so many other places, Weatherspoon: Ok food and most of all, free wi-fi connection. After our uninamous meal I decided that now I have to sit down and try to make some photos and write things and thoughts down… so I took some time off to compute a bit. Some time of that went also into chatting with friends via FB… in Finnish ;D

Had no stress, had a ...
Boston, England, United Kingdom phoinix... We were the only tenters. The rain had stopped a bit, so put up the tend and then drove back down the road for some fish and chips- not too bad. After dinner we decided to go for a walk, but it was already so dark we couldn’t see a thing. The toilets had no light either…or warm water… So got into bed, it was only 9.30pm! It was freezing cold, so not the best sleep.
Snettisham, England, United Kingdom nomads06... dropped passed to show us his wedding video since we were unable to attend. We all squished into the sitting room with most of us on the floor to watch the video of the wedding and reception on the laptop. After we had watched the DVD, Damon helped us to find a place to order pizza for dinner as we weren't going to be able to head out for dinner tonight with all the packing we had to do. We put the order in and then said goodbye to Damon as he ...
