... actually as I had to do something to work off the omelette I had at The Old Pancake House for breakfast. I'm sure it had at least a dozen eggs in it, and probably a block of cheese! Phew. The Old Pancake House itself is a real Chicago gem with everything you want from an old school American diner- ever lasting coffee pots, 12 types of toast or pancakes as a side with every dish, including pancakes, and the looks good ...

... on the plane during the layover. We flew an hour and 20 minutes from Detroit to Chicago. We safely reached Midway airport at 3:56 PM, said our goodbyes, and parted ways to go home.

... sites.  Not the city kind, but some REALLY confident women dressed, erm, how do I put it, interestingly! Some proper babes putting it ALL out there to see, and some with, lets just say, some displaced confidence.  We were howling with Akono (our cabbie).  He was telling us  stories about how he was supposed to be on holiday in *****ia but his visa wasnt the right one and how he'll be visiting the Uk soon too.  Really ...

Our day began bright and early with a tour of the Willis Tower (formally the Sears Tower). Willis Tower is the tallest building in Chicago. After a fast ride up the elevator we ended up on "The Skydeck". Had it been a clear day we could have been able to see into 4 surrounding states. There was some cloud cover and fog that prevented this BUT we still had an amazing view of Chicago and beyond. ...

... were flying out of and it's huge ,when we pulled up at two guys checked in our bags on the kerb and it was freezing but done quickly .....we just did it as we thought that's the way it was done thought laters that maybe we should have tipped him ...oh well .He advised us that we would have to get seat allocation at the gate as the flight was over booked and not to give up our seats as it was spring break and we would never get another seat that day . ...
