Monday August 3rd was our little girl's birthday. Every year we seem to be traveling for her birthday. This year we had to find a place for her to celebrate that was different, but included all of her favorites (sharks, rides, dance, shopping and dolls). So we found the perfect place, the Mall of America in Bloomington Minnesota.

The drive to Minnesota from Chicago was filled with lots of pretty (yet ...

So you get to Memphis and you get set up in the Graceland RV Park right next door to the whole shebang. Six months ago I decided to apply for a Global Seminar Abroad in Thailand, and believe it or not, tomorrow is the day that I leave! It hasn't really hit me yet (I think once I get on the plane I will be in full excitement mode). Tomorrow morning at 11:00am I will be heading to the airport for my 2:30pm flight. After flying for twelve and a half hours, I will arrive in Tokyo! This is the first country outside of the United States that I will be stepping foot in (I'm not ...

I like it here, but know I must travel further West soon. I possibly have a ride leaving Friday morning that will take me well into South Dakota. We shall see. Ok I am going to try to add some pictures to the entries I've already written since I have the luxury of being on a mac computer right now. Adios for now...
