... really good friends of Carmen and Pete, turnendup. While Robyn saw them last July I had no seen them since we went out to dinner in Beckenham in 2010.

We had a really nice evening and Pete's dinner was not too bad either. His mashed potato in the Thermomix was more like a potato soup, but I liked it!

... to wear my long sleeve shirt and scarf! The time difference is annoying because when I want to text people during the day it's the middle of the night over there. We are having dinner with Lizzie and andrew and Elliot tonight at home and then we have the meeting. I am definitely not a fan of travelling without my family, I'm so used to doing these things together and I can't believe I feel so home sick so quickly! But Tomorrow we are going into London for the first ...

        ... Wallfisch.

I’m not sure if you know who Anita Lasker-Wallfisch is, but this is how they introduced us to her….

“Anita Lasker-Wallfisch was the youngest member of the all female orchestra in Auschwitz. If it weren’t for her musical talents, she would’ve been deemed to young and gassed very early on. Apparently cello players were difficult to replace and thus gave her entrance into the 40-piece orchestra. ...

... that I could wander around. I found my way down to church street where all the shops were that I had passed on the tram on the way in. The first place I went? McDonald's.. I was hoping they would have free wifi so that I could inform my mom and friends that I had landed and arrived safely. After nodding off a few times at the table from exhaustion I decided to wander around some more before I headed back to check in. It felt odd looking the ...

... Show to inspire us for the year to come.

Sat night saw myself and Marian take the Jack the Ripper Tour!! We first up had an amazing dinner at a random French restaurant off Brick Lane. We toured all around White Chapel etc. I didn’t realise how brutal this guy was. And we finished just outside the Spitafield Markets. I had spotted a lovely cheese and wine bar here last week, so off we popped for some wine and cheese to end our evening.

        Most epic week ever! ...
