      ... wherever we looked there were no good stones that would bring you from one side to the other, whatever we tried. Ultimately we made, although I had stepped into the water, luckily the shoes and socks were relatively waterproof and so we made it without too many issues.

      ... highest points in Norway (1434 mtr) and as usual has all the hairpin bends, small streets etc. Very special here is certainly the vegetation which is different from what we have seen on the West coast. Much more snow still here and also many small ponds, small rivers, etc. Vegetation is mainly moss and small plants. There weren’t hardly any people living in the area south of Mo I Rana either, just crossing woods. Once you get near to Trondheim, everything changes, traffic becomes denser, and a more fertile landscape with fields and farms and more people living there.       ... off on her motorcycle somewhere. We had a fine supper of mashed potatoes, vegetables, pork, klub soup, lefse and flatbrød- fo.llowed by a double dessert, homemade ice cream with strawberries and a marshmallow cake.       ... photos tell the story, but don't really do it justice. We also stopped to get some groceries, which were horrendously expensive. Just as well we'd been prepared for this, but it was still difficult parting with so much money for such a small amount of goods. No comparison with Lidl in Cascais where food was ridiculously cheap. The price you pay for being in Norway!
