... for the rivers floating next to the path.
The hike was a 4,5 Kms stretch to another hotel/hytte and there we would make a tour around a mountain to a small place another 5 Kms away (with service in the summer - now that's a goal) and then back on the other side of the mountain and back to the car over the same way we came originally.

All went well till we came to a small river - the guide indicated to cross it over the ...

I saw the stavekjirke and some of the outdoor partsof the fjellmuseum then went up the mountain a little way. At 4:00pm my cousin Sonja picked us up in her taxi and took us to Sjåk and her sister Oddrun's house, picking up her mother Inge on the way. There we met Eva and Liv, so we had four of the five sisters. ...

... photos tell the story, but don't really do it justice. We also stopped to get some groceries, which were horrendously expensive. Just as well we'd been prepared for this, but it was still difficult parting with so much money for such a small amount of goods. No comparison with Lidl in Cascais where food was ridiculously cheap. The price you pay for being in Norway!

Found a campsite in Lom, where we were very pleased to not be the only tent. ...
