It was the worst of days
... the checkout but they only now about the city centre not the way out unless it is by bus or train.
It did nit take me long to find it, I had spotted it on my way in before I got lost a bit that is.
As it was such and awful day I decided to stick to the E6 the main road north, my original plan had been to slip off onto minor roads now and then to break up the journey. You often come across interesting things ...
The First Sign of Santa??
... of ice melt and somebody is employed full time to redirect the flow of water coming off the melting ice to maintain reasonably safe access to the tunnel entrance. That having been said, the tunnel ice is three thousand years old and as was pointed out to us, there is plenty of evidence of earlier periods of melting.
There were certainly plenty of reindeer to be seen – future Santa recruits perhaps?? ...

When we were finished at the museum we said goodbye to our wonderful friends and Felix and I sat for over an hour discussing - sometimes I was almost close to tears - if we would go back to Oslo or carry on as planned up North. Dag 7
... extra te tanken! We hebben deze dag niet bijzonder veel km's afgelegd, vooral omdat we niet echt konden doorrijden, en omdat je ongeveer het dubbele aflegd door de slingerende wegen. Na wisten we ook deze dag succesvol tot een einde te brengen op een camping niet ver van Lom, wat aan de voet van de berg ligt.
Voor iedereen die wel van een intense autorit houdt, dit is een must!

Dag 3
Dag 3 vi er kommet til Skjåk hvor vi har lejet en luksus hytte med egen bad og køkken :-).
I nat har der regnet så vores telt har vi været nød til at pakke våde samme ,det betyder så at vi har slåtet teltet op her i hytten så det kan tørre .
Det har været en pragtfuld ...
