Once again, in Scandic style, the rooms are clean and modern with good amenities and nice breakfast. Close to the train station and in close proximity to everything else.

    Gamla Stan

The old town is something that I cannot describe in detail. The short days mean we emerge from lunch at 3pm with the sun gone..we are in darkness each day around 3. The fairy lights make it so pretty though and although it is cold, we scenes around us help us to be distracted. Only 2 metro stops and we are in Gamla Stan. We make the most of the day light with a walk around the palace, catch the finish of the changing of the guard, take as many photos of the area as we could. We ...

... meal. One other motorhome arrived latish and, surprise, parked next to us, this often happens. A pleasant walk from the stopover and lovely views of the adjacent river before retiring early. It was a cold night without electricity and we did not use the gas heating as we were unsure if we could obtain any in this part of ...

A smooth disembarkation and on the road to Nykkoping via the E4 without any problems. We found a very nice stopover on our third attempt, whilst the previous ones were OK the third one was super, about 58 miles on the road south. It was at Stavsjovagen with excellent facilities for motor homers and a designated rest place for those on the road. Look for the Trafficplatz signs on the road or sign into the website at www.traficveket.se ...

... I can't say that there is so much more to add to my short time spent in Norrköping today, but you can see most of it in the pictures. The colour of Norrköping is yellow, so most of the buildings are yellow while many of them have green window frames with silver or black roofs. Charming, but somewhat boring. I lost my bearings at one point because much of it was the same ...

... There's a really nice dog on the bus with her owner! Nice, you can bring your dog with you. About 15 minutes later and a lot of bus stops with the weirdest names I've ever heard I get to Ryd centrum, a little mall where my friend Laura is picking me up. Finally a familiar thing since I left LA. 1st time at the university After leaving my luggage on Laura's room ( literally dragging it in the snow) I borrowed Miguel's bike to head the university and ...
