... thoughts of the Buddha cable car the day before and so prepared ourselves for a long wait as we hadn't pre-purchase tickets. Surprisingly (unlike the tram) this queue was constantly moving and although it still took us a half hour to get to the front, it was still a lot shorter than we first feared. Although we weren't quite on a tram yet, we scrambled for another half an hour to get on one. Actually, I say scrambled but we really didn't. To pass the time there are little exhibits on ...

... a direction left or right, just like Swansea ;).

We continue our wanderings and make inevitable comparisons with Kowloon. This area is mostly residential, although there are hotels here, most tourists head downtown toward the skyscrapers and shops. Here people are going about their business and there are no street hawkers and gentlemen trying to smarten Martin up. But there are colleges and universities here which gives the area a student ...

... Cash Only. Best work out how to use the GPS in the phone before our next cab ride, although we later find out that 350-400 is average to/from the airport.

Finally check in to the Harbour Plaza Hotel at 7.00pm and head to the lobby for beers and food. Beers at HK55 (A$7.50). Kaz decides to have scallops & broccoli. The menu did not say this was a raw dish served cold - should have had Maccas. Still Rob's Bib Bam Bap was superb.
