... a bit ambitious in its rating. However, we had booked a 'traditional' room. I didn't check on Google translate to see if the French for Traditional meant 'absolutely tiny', but I guess it must have as we took turns to be in the room to unpack (the room not being quite big enough for us both to be in) unless we were on the 'King Sized' bed which took up all the floor space. I'm unsure which King was actually measured for this particular bed but I can only assume it was King Louis ...

Lucky are those children who have parents that can send them to quality schools and pursue a degree related to their interest. Royal London & Christmas

To end the day we decided to go and see the Christmas Markets at Hyde Park. Because it gets dark so early here (4:30pm) all the Christmas lights were lit up when we arrived. Apart from the markets they have a skating ring, rides, stalls and food stalls. We had some yummy hot food and mulled wine and was a nice way to finish our day.

Another quite night at the hotel tonight.

We stop in at Camino's again near Kings Cross station, we're too late for the breakfast menu and are forced into the restaurant section, I have some pretentious over priced **** then leave for Mcdonald's to get some food that actually might fill over half of my stomach. That hit the spot, there's a place to get waxed next door that wants to charge 80 so I leave, shaking my head. We get to our meeting spot for the Contiki tour, we have a few hours before we leave ...

... medicine and so on. We whizzed round the Louis Kahn floor (architect who changed the face of Philadelphia) before closing time. After enjoying tripping around the city inc walking across Millennium bridge and Tower Bridge in the day we hopped on another tube to make a compulsory visit to the geek shop, Forbidden Planet, to check out all the memorabilia from Dr Who, LOTR, Star Wars etc. and Guy was pleased to get the latest ...
