    ... road so I capitulated and hopped on the Interstate, I80. They have a very generous 80 MPH speed limit but seriously you gotta do 95+ to stay competitive or you'll get run over by grandma's in mini vans. Even in construction sites, of which thankfully there were few, the speed limit is 65 MPH.

    Interstates have few pro's;

    • There are a lot of gas stations, restaurants, attractions, etc

    ... this time of year. There was a line that stretched from St. Louis, through Omaha and then into the middle of South Dakota. The best plan I could come up was to aim for the southern tip near St. Louis, then turn for Omaha.

    ... with no slides and hit the road. We got as far as Epsom, NH.

    We wintered in the Circle 9 Campground in Epsom, with our two Pomeranians, Hansel and Gretel, and waited for Mike's contract to end in May. That was a very long wait, but we survived the small space, the antics of our two fur balls, the cold winter and each other!p

    It was a pleasure to be in Hoskins, near Wayne, for the Wayne County Republican Party's Lincoln-Reagan Forum.

    They had the Hoskins Community Center all decorated up, and it looked great. The dinner was good, too!
