Spent the night in the Cracker Barrel in Council Bluffs. Breakfast there. Headed to Horseshoe Casino. Had a good time there. Ate at the Binion. Played for awhile. Somehow with ...

... the wheel, turn it the other way, don't hit the tree, don’t back into the lake, what the hell's going on back-in is torture. That's until a man two pads down came out of his RV to help. Byron had driven big rigs for 45 years and was spending some time down at Willow Creek when he headed out to see what we were trying to attempt. Patient as Job he was, with a crucifix dangling from his necklace and a smile on his face. I'd spot him around ...

    Hoskins Hosted a GOP Get-Together

It was a pleasure to be in Hoskins, near Wayne, for the Wayne County Republican Party's Lincoln-Reagan Forum.

They had the Hoskins Community Center all decorated up, and it looked great. The dinner was good, too!

They had a good set-up for the candidates to stand a few steps above the floor with a podium that made it easy for everyone to see. I felt just a little bit like ...
