My sister, Coleen, sold her home in Spokane Valley this past fall. She was blessed with a place to say with friends up in Elk Wa. Her little added on 'mother in law' type apartment is so cozy. The course consists of 18 holes plus another 9 holes, there is a driving range , a putting area and a place to practice chipping. This place works out well for me as I can play 9 holes, and then after discussing my deficiencies with Jo I can go and practice at ...

... fast to pull together. Tonight we are camping off of Hwy 12 at the Kooskia Internment Camp site, thanks to the ladies at the Ranger Station in Kooskia. We would never have found it if we hadn’t stopped to ask and if Jake hadn’t turned on his charm. This site is just a little side road off of 12, but it is the actual site of an internment campsite from 1943-1945, and the internees that lived here actually ...
