... emails, boxing and of course blog. We tried to ring mum to wish her happy birthday but got voicemail. We left one but she probably won't hear it as we then rang the landline and had a very strange dalek-esque conversation with dad! ... Leanne has been shopping I have been watching the cobblestoned roads get repaired, tradesman moving loads up ladders four stories high and trying to find a bike shop. For a town of so many bikes there are very few bike shops. I have not found one yet. ... on train so arrived at bout 4.00. Had a look around a few streets then home to shower get out of the heat get ready and go for dinner. Very close to market place so will try that out. The shops full of beautiful things can't wait to get into them. Hotel is charming so will sit back and enjoy the next 3 days away from rush of London.

... amp; it was busy), old stone bridges which were so low, you had to duck as the boat passes through. It really was amazing to view the buildings & spires for the perspective of the travelling boat. Kaye & I were in the front seat next to the driver, so I recon we had the best views as we travelled through the canals of Bruges. Weather was amazing 24C, blue skies with light cloud.
