      Outside Epsom Station Costa at 6:55 this morning. And to think I joked about Roger leaving whilst hanging onto the walls. Just thought I'd pop in - finish up and then go shopping.  Savers opens in a couple of hours. You never know. It's absolutely hammering it down with rain this morning and Sally claims to be in a "cool 90 degrees".   Well "tch". 12:05 - checked in.  Computer off. Cheerio Bridger Bell - see you in a couple. Now to Savers - you never know....... ...

      ... into the Burj Khalifa reception. We are booked on the "special ascent" version. We are treated like royalty....lovely arabic coffee...dates......sweets. We are called and nervously make our way to the elevators that will take us to the 148th floor. Up we go to the 90th floor and then change to another elevator for the final 58 floors!!!! All I can say is its tall........and a really great end to a fantastic trip. Dubai itself has to be seen once ...

      ... old in 24 days, and her stamina and maturity surpass most people far older. She may rule the world one day. As for us, we had an amazing time with our kids on this journey. We wish Lee could have joined us for a truly family experience, but we talked about him a lot and laughed about what he would have said or done in many situations. Grab the brass ring.       We made it over the pond! Flight was full and smooth. Had free sandwiches and wine at 2:30 am our time, then tried to get a bit of shut-eye. If you are anything like me, you will know that it is very difficult to sleep on a plane. The seat is not the right shape or size for my body, space is limited etc. There was a pillow and blankie though. I star gazed and managed to watch the sky lighten as we approached Ireland.
