    ... streets in a zigzag pattern towards our hotel. Unfortunately, our hotel was located in Beckton, which was quite a distance from London's city centre. I used this time to give students some reminders about how to behave while in one of the world's largest cities.

    ... there weren't too many kiwi songs being played but after our usual rounds of jagger bombs we started ripping up the D-floor. Scored some free glowstick bracelets and went hard for a bit later.

    Dirty chicken time and then once again with very sore legs we caught a bus back to Vauxhall. It is really getting a little too cold to be out partying in the middle of the night.

    1007. GMT Epsom Here we are again on another mini adventure into Europe. This time we are off to Lille by Eurostar for two nights. A bit casual this morning and already forgotten "plug" the coffee pot...., We have left Kiwi Steve in charge of the dogs. He looks capable and runs a small holding in NZ with his wife June. Either that or he is already rummaging through Cathy's makeup ...

    Well, where do I start?

    ... used an Egyptian escalator area!

    Bruce went and met work mate for a beer while I complained about tv not working ( not turned on at power pt) bought a dozen stamps ready for my postcard sending and checked out a store across from hotel which sells cheap clothes and the whole of London was there buying! Also met up with tour leader.

    Dinner at the hotel was fabulous -- then again it was the first descent meal in days !
