Surprise – Jon went for a repeat of the spag with strog meatballs at breakfast.

Today we went for our walk into the centre of the city, down to the river. This place is actually beautiful! I can't place which city Khabarovsk reminds me of, but it’s lovely. Our hosts asked where he was, so I went looking. I found him. Sitting on a stool, crouched over his ...

. So it was back to Irkutsk to Spike, Natasha & Masha who insisted we spend the next three days there until the next available train left. To be truthful I enjoyed it a lot more the second time around cos there was no introductions to be made, no travel stories to be repeated and no other couchsurfers crowding the place. All we did was relax in Nata & Maria's great company! Also we got to spend some more time with Spike & Froder, getting ...
