      ... in to our not so glamorous hotel to have a shower, get changed and plan our day! They even let us have breakfast which was an experience in itself, Lucy opted out of breakfast deciding it didn't look edible but Liam braved it! First stop the souks! Despite Lucy's excessive research we didn't realise most things are closed on a Friday morning! So unfortunately the souks were not in full swing but we still got a flavour of what they are like with a trip to the spice market ...

      Hot hot hot.. We opened the curtains to a burning hot window (we don't have a balcony here) and the shining sun.. We got ready and went for breakfast - chicken sausages and veal bacon but there was toast so don't worry we won't be starving :) We went to the pool after breakfast which was nice, small but not crowded so there was a good sun lounger selection - no towels at 5am here, feeeew!!!       Didn't hurry out this morning deciding to be nocturnal like the locals. It was Robs birthday, 49 today! When we did head out we went to the other shopping centre, the Mall of the Emirates and had a quick look around. This one has a ski field, unreal!
