Imust say I was pleased when we cleared Iraqi airspace and we are now seated in the First class Emirates lounge relaxing. I am not sure how we managed to get in but the lady just stamped our passes and in we came!! I suspect that she may have been new oat the job.
So hopefully we will be home in about 18 hours all being well.

Prior to getting into the water I had to watch a video that let me know that you’re more likely to die from using your toaster than from a shark attack. The video also outlined the do’s and don’ts for behaviour in the tank. Most of it was common sense like don’t wave your hands around in front of the sharks as they may think your hands are the tasty white fish they get fed. My favourite was don’t grab the sharks by the tail.

Nothing to report, caught the flight at 5.00 in the morning. Had a gluten free breakfast and I ate it rather greedily as I was hungry. Stupidly I didn't question the bread, not that they would have been able to tell me what was in it as there was no ingredient list. An hour later I was violently sick. ... midnight so you literally could spend all day (and night) in here! When we visited back in 2011, it was a scorching 35-40 degrees! This time the temperature was a positively chilly 20 degrees and slightly overcast so we shopped 'til we dropped instead!
Still stuffed from our huge brunch, we popped into the huge Waitrose (yes, Waitrose!) for a few goodies and headed back to the ranch. In a waiting taxi of course. You couldn't slum it in Dubai if you tried :-)
