      ... decided to cook in. That of course meant that we had to go to the grocery store. First observation - for a country that exports so much in fresh produce, we were disappointed. Second observation - lots of packaged foods. Third observation - THEY DON'T HAVE BACON!?!?! Our shopping experience was all good until we got to the cash register.       Tellingly on most tours like this the tour guide really emphazies the need to wear your backpack across your chest to stop pick pockets etc. but here he didn't, and kept his on his back also.
