... minute of it met and spoke to so many people and had to deal with children being told they have malaria and sadly dying I thought our living conditions weren't great but I count my lucky stars that we have it good Compared to her . Tomorrow we wake to a whole weekend off sunshine sand and cider hoping it doesn't rain as it did earlier today and when it rains in Ghana it rains ...

... boys who were all really lovely. As we had been given two 23kg bags by Royal Air Maroc each we decided to bring as much as we could out for the boys. That day we bought a bag of football boots that my mum's friend had given us to the house so we were excited to give them out to the boys.

After dinner we headed back to Hannah's house as we were so tired! When our heads hit the pillows we were fast asleep.

... I noticed my phone (which has the alarm) wasn’t
reading the same time as everything else in the room. Apparently when we landed in London the phone
automatically adjusted to the local time, but it didn’t do the same when we
landed in Accra. The one hour time
change meant I actually had another hour to sleep! It was with great pleasure that I rolled over
and went back to sleep!

... that I connected with was Nathan. He's been teaching grade 5 here for 3 years, and has this nice smile on his face all the time. He always has a moment for you, a suggestion if you need one and is incredibly positive. He also is a talented athlete, and organises the Sunday Ultimate here at LCS.

Once he told me about his engagement with a local community center for local kids called DUNK. DUNK stands for Developing Unity ...
