Bus fail
... teeth when we finally arrived in Sao Paulo at midday. The people here are already much friendlier than further South - a man passed me pointing at my face and said 'beautiful' and walked right off again without any attempt of recognition or trying to sell me a ****** mp3 player. CARNIVAL IN SAO PAULO
... results and some spectators tore up the judges results because they thought it was rigged. We felt the spirit of fierce competition as the supporters on the stand we were sitting handed out flags and lit fire candles and waved banners, fortunately we were sitting with the team that Sandra and Edson support. The Gravioes. Anyway, we had a great time and the carnival ended at 7am as the sun rose.

Grand Finale: Jack Johnson!

After Parati we went to Sao Paulo to see Jack Johnson. Sadly we didnt see much of this mega city, but for us the most important part about this small trip was the Natura Nos Festival. Along with Lenni, Rebecca and her Cousin we went to this Festival not only to see internationally reknown artists but also prominent brazilian singers. We especially enjoyed Roberta Sa + Antonio Zambujo and Maria Gadu´s music. Since a long time we have been looking forward to this ...

... mentioned previously, one great thing about this hotel is the stellar breakfast buffet. On the other hand though, one terrible thing about this hotel is the stellar breakfast buffet. An option this morning? Flan. And this vanilla cake with rainbow sprinkles. Last time I checked, those weren't breakfast foods but honestly, how can I turn down that opportunity?
