Our hostel was lovely - the owner bakes a cake every day, the bar was cheap and the beds actually had nice bedding. We were staying in Vila Madalena, the artsy part of Sao Paolo, and quickly found an amazing deli with a cafe. ... Sao Paulo the summer before, and had a lot of friends. As a result, we were able to enjoy a very traditional Brazilian day. Here's the Cole's Notes version:
1. Futebol. It should be no shocker that Brazilians are soccer crazy. While we there, the Copa American Tournament (a tourney between south american teams) was going on, so we met up with some of Seps buddies to catch Brazil vs. Paraguay.

The city is so different from Rio - it was incredible the number of buildings and sky scrapers there were - really did remind me of dubai - ofcourse dubai is more beautiful because of the sea in the background and also when you look at the desert from afar - it does look quite lovely. But never the less if was an interesting experience seeing so many sky scrapers after so long.
