      ... The first time I ate less than Shaun, but when it was fish Friday I ate more than Shaun. I cant help myself when its fish! We also tried the local dish feijoada a banquet of a meal!! There was so much food! Feijoada is a pork dish with different types of pork such as sausage, cooked in a big pot of their local black beans, served with rice, cauliflower leaves, breadcrumbs and salsa!       That night we went back to Villa Madelena, drank lots and hung out with Brisa and pals. Even in this down at heel (not even shabby chic), unpretentious watering hole, which also doubles up as a video rental and book shop, the food is great. We have a sharing platter of mozzarella balls, thinly sliced rare beef, and sun dried tomatoes - actual tomatoes dried in the sun covered in olive oil and herbs, not out of a jar!
