Absolutely wonderful day in Wer*****ode. This quintessential German town dates back to 1121 and sits at the base of the Harz Mountains. The quaint and vibrant buildings helped the city earn its nickname as the "colorful town of the Harz."

Our first stop was to the castle on the hill. I think Michael was trying to kill us…as we had to walk up the mountain to get there. You know you're out of shape when the old people ...

Miriam is a talented decorator who loves to change things about regularly. They have recently broken through a wall upstairs and made another living/bedroom, which they have given for us to use. It is simply stunning! All of Henry's relatives have been so hospitable. We are truly ...

Today is Sunday and we were privileged to go to the church of our hosts, that is the Baptist church in Schoerningen. Bernie is opening the meeting and sharing in some of the procedure. Another style of worship, but all God's children carry His spirit within them and we always feel at home. The welcome was warm, the service was great and the coffee afterwards - a good fellowship experience. Following the service out hosts took us to a place not far away where part of ...
