... money to buy something! Exactly what our Opa used to do everytime we visited him!

We went for a walk through the village and it was just beautiful. Each village has its own town hall, school, cemetery and everyone knows eachother. It is also super safe. I passed a funny apple plantation on the way, where apparently you could pay money, go into the plantation by car, and then pick apples and fill a whole basket with apples of your choice... or so it seemed from what I saw.

Looked around the town, had expensive, not-so-good coffee on the touristy main square (staff was a bit snooty too). When I asked whether they had wifi for the guests, she looked at me like I had just escaped from a lunatic asylum. No wifi anywhere in this whole Harz region, not that I could find anyway.
