    ... br> Our little appt was in a very old building , behind huge wooden doors and stained glass lead lights ,leading to an internal courtyard. We felt just a little local !! We walked all over the city visiting the many churches and palaces until we were a bit palace fatigued .... ABC or ABP .....another bloody Church or Palace!!!

    ... we found this amazing local Pizza place, it one that the locals use, so there was no English going on at all. But we got 2 medium Pizza's for euros 7, can't moan about that, and we couldn't even eat it all.

    The following morning we had arranged to see the The Shroud of Turin, due to circumstances this did not happen, but we went off to our next destination, Capena Rome.

    An easier day today - only a half hour walk after our bus ride into the hills to in Castagnole Monferrato. It was a little hazy but the view across the vineyards was glorious. Hayfever struck once again - this time it was the snowflake trees which were scattering pollen everywhere. Illaria offered to take my photo with the vineyards but I declined - my eyes were streaming, not pretty. OK. I think Juventus just scored a goal ...
