... always two women in the front seat, dressed to the nines, who look like they're on the long journey just for something to do. They seem to view the ride as a sort of sight-seeing tour. ... stalls, the bus stop for the city and a few shops that sell basics including alcohol....now I am really set up!!

Sunday lunch a student invited me to go to the local food stalls and I had freshly made steamed wontons in a delicious soup. Best meal since I've been in Baise. The stall owners were very excited and have told me I have to go back and eat there again. At 2 kwai (about 30 cents) I most certainly will be partaking in their food.
