Treacle wasn't very well (as usual) so I had a couple of 'quiet' days, on one I did lots of minor jobs about the motorhome including mending a cupboard catch, re-attaching the security camera in the cab, cleaning all the drains and giving the toilet cassette a spring clean! Pat and I both hit the ceiling a few times. For other reasons as well this had one the title of worst accommodation ...

... she totally renovated with lovely turquoise shutters and standing on top of a ridge. Sitting on the terrace having lunch and looking across at the range of the Pyrenees was spectacular even if the weather was rather hazy.
Some friends took us to a cave that was a significant part of the Cathare history. The Cathares are a religious group, who were wiped out by the Catholic Church through the King in the 13th century. They used the the basement ...

... their furniture launch here. In between times I am skyping Karina, chipping old cement off tiles so that they can be re-used, cleaning the 2 apartments that I am managing, taking tours around the chateau etc so you can see that my life is really varied.

So YES, I am happy here and I am really appreciating the opportunity to be involved in something like this. Of course, there are moments when I miss home, am lonely, miss the kids, miss having a chat ...
