This week has been a highlight. We joined "hundreds" of French people and stocked up on cheap groceries and petrol near the border before crossing from Spain into France. Our first (magnificent) French meal was at an idyllic setting by the river in St Etienne de Baigorry. This is where we said goodbye to Peter & Myriam.

Friday 30th May

We left a rainy Solsona this morning and decided we would head back into Andorra (it was more or less on the way) to stock up on food and cheap alcohol. We had lunch in the supermarket restaurant and then headed back into Spain to Espot. The scenery along the route was beautiful as we climbed up winding roads to the top of mountain passes.
