    ... for Adam and a glass of Santorini white wine for me. We started chatting to a group of American girls who we enjoyed the company of for the rest of the evening. The next stop was in a sheltered cove of another island. We got to have another swim off the boat which was just glorious. The water was bright blue and so clear. The colosseum is a huge and as impressive as you've always imagined it to be - it was constructed in just 10 years and could hold an estimated 50,000 to 80,000 people, so you know about as many as suncorp stadium or more, ridiculous. We did laps as far as you could and were just generally impressed by the whole structure. Then it being well past 3 in the afternoon our pesky stomachs once again demanded feeding so there was more pizza. ...

    ... after picking up some more passengers from the old port we headed out to the island of Nea Kameni in the centre of the caldera. This is the centre of the volcano with 7 craters.     ... bus station. It was a no frills hostel with decent sized beds and well marked lockers allocated to each, large enough to put your whole back pack in. There was a washing machine that they allowed guests to use free of charge, all you had to do was BYO soap. We checked in, settled in to our room and chucked on two consecutive loads before heading out for a late lunch/early dinner.
