... and down from the sun .... A litre of water on the walk barely hit the sides.

Back on board, we sailed to a smaller volcano (Palea Kameni) in the caldera, and anchored about 25-30m off shore. Here anyone who could swim, could jump in ... Or climb down the ladder as I did, and swim to the shoreline to soak in the hot water of the mineral springs. I decided to swim slowly towards the land, cooling down after the hot walk. To day we stopped at Santorini .To start the day, we rode a donkey to the top of Santorini which was crazy. We hired a car for the day to explore Santorini because It was to big to explore on foot. Jo was driving because mum didn't have her drivers licence with her. Jo was so nervous about driving in a different county and on the opposite side of the road. It was kinda funny. First we drove to the red beach. At first I ...

M-L prior to leaving Sifnos sent an email to the next accommodation place asking ...

... Oia is as picturesque as the postcards - the blue sea against the white painted buildings with blue domed roofs are just stunning. The area is definitely touristy, the only Greeks are those that work in the restaurants and shops. So it is no surprise that the entire area caters for travellers, many gift shops, over priced cafes and restaurants. The small cobbled streets are over filled and at the end of the sunset many tourists clap and yell- I ...

... the cliff face? We decided it was just to cruel to the poor little donkeys to carry us all the way in the hot sun to only have to walk all the way back to collect a new person. By the way there must have been 70 donkeys or more along this path. Some were standing in holding yards with some shelter and others along the track. We think they move them down the line as they get used so not all the same donkeys do the trips? One goes and the next one takes ...
