... a small town can support so many, they were every few blocks. We had googled things to do in Kawaguchiko which came back with a shrine and a lakeside park. ... Stop which helped us get back to the hotel. I was very much impressed with the Ryokan style room where you sleep on the floor. They have a low level dining table which is helpful if you chose to have room service. The hotel personnel also helped us in making our bed for the night. ... as it appears to be a public holiday. Hence the lines for the temple.

We wandered around the streets a bit and into another supermarket to look at stuff. Bought some Japanese sake plum wine which Peter drank later that night. All the roads around the temple were closed to traffic so people were walking around.

I think next time we come to Tokyo we might stay here. There are heaps of interesting restaurants and shops.
