... vines waiting to trip you up, slippery downhill pathways, sheer drops and last but not least, the leeches.

We very quickly got hot and sweaty hiking in the humidity and trying not to fall over the mountain. Along our path we saw an iguana on a tree which was pretty exciting for me...I was the only one to really stop and take photos. When we reached the first waterfall, it was pretty small but the first proper waterfall I'd seen so I'd take it. The water in the river feeding ...

... We went for a massage in the afternoon, Malc had a Thai massage and I had an oil massage which made my skin amazingly soft. Malc came out rather pale faced ha ha, none of that though just a deep tissue massage. The four or five different temples upon these mountains offered various beautiful views of the city and opportunities to ...

... Mum and I felt small drops then it started pelting, absolutely pelting. In the time it took us to stand up and flip the lounge pillows up there was not one spot of dry ground and the rain was actually hurting with how hard it hit, we ran for the hotel foyer which inconveniently is outdoors and the wind was blowing the rain in just as hard. Under an umbrella mum and I ran to our building. Looking out over the balcony we could see the rain being ...

    Walk and Wednesday Night Market

... Normally breakfast will be full of Thai’s having conventions which we never see again and Scandinavians but at breakfast there was only ten tables of Thai’s and three of white people and there would be at least 70 tables! The pool chairs are normally all taken, we've only ever seen six others at the pool. At night time, only one balcony will be lit up and only two have inside lights on - it’s ...
