Today's the day. When I got downstairs this morning, ready to leave I found two people who were coming with us on the camping trip to Kaeng Krachan. I was pleased to see one of them was Fit. I knew he'd been invited but I didn't think he could come.

The five of us set out for the national park. When we arrived I was amazed. The scenery is so beautiful here. Once again my photos can't convey just how breathtaking it is here. There ...

... We went for a massage in the afternoon, Malc had a Thai massage and I had an oil massage which made my skin amazingly soft. Malc came out rather pale faced ha ha, none of that though just a deep tissue massage. Pretty good for 2weeks that include towels, bed sheets, mosquito nets, water shoes, laundry detergent, bug spray, sun block, first aid kits, loaded movies on our ipad and tablet and brought our own lanterns and movies on DVD for a week without wifi, unless we go into town. I have even brought cookies and Fiberone bars in case we are hungry in the afternoon. Breakfast, lunch and dinner ...

... Mum and I felt small drops then it started pelting, absolutely pelting. In the time it took us to stand up and flip the lounge pillows up there was not one spot of dry ground and the rain was actually hurting with how hard it hit, we ran for the hotel foyer which inconveniently is outdoors and the wind was blowing the rain in just as hard. Under an umbrella mum and I ran to our building. Looking out over the balcony we could see the rain being ...

... Normally breakfast will be full of Thai’s having conventions which we never see again and Scandinavians but at breakfast there was only ten tables of Thai’s and three of white people and there would be at least 70 tables! The pool chairs are normally all taken, we've only ever seen six others at the pool. At night time, only one balcony will be lit up and only two have inside lights on - it’s ...
