    ... We went for a massage in the afternoon, Malc had a Thai massage and I had an oil massage which made my skin amazingly soft. Malc came out rather pale faced ha ha, none of that though just a deep tissue massage. Cha-Am appears to be a place for senior western men to be with their mainly younger Thai wives/partners/girlfriends.

    ... Mum and I felt small drops then it started pelting, absolutely pelting. In the time it took us to stand up and flip the lounge pillows up there was not one spot of dry ground and the rain was actually hurting with how hard it hit, we ran for the hotel foyer which inconveniently is outdoors and the wind was blowing the rain in just as hard.     ... to hurt his wing so i tried to push him back through an he bite me and wouldn't let go! eventually he let go and we moved him and the net into the enclosure and untangled him in there so he could fly off as soon as he was untangled. it looked like a happy reunion for the lovebirds!!
    another of the love birds died a few days before, i found him on the floor of his enclosure, still alive but looking very sick. he went to the vets but didn't make it.
