... and smiles at me....?!? Dumbstruck I say hi and then he boards the plane... Day 1 - Arrival Day
... so we tipped the guy 20 baht as we felt bad. Me and charles managed to have a quick drip in the pool where me met Ian a Canadian joining our tour. ... was James that wasn't wearing enough clothes! - so we had to queue for some long trousers for him. We were also informed that the King was arriving later for a ceremony so the Palace would be closing early. The complex was beautiful - so many colours and so much detail on all the buildings. Ah...Bangkok. I seem to go against the grain with this one, as unlike most of my friends I've got a real soft spot for Asia's sin city. There's something about the chaos, the in-your-face-ness, the seediness and the randomness that has always had me hooked.

Day 2 - Arriving in Bangkok
... food for it! Paying was also hilarious - no one knew what we were saying, and we didn't understand them. But defintley over paid in the end, still only cost £1.20 for both of us - so still amazingly cheap! After this we found the river, where we got a random little boat to the otherside. We were the only tourists on the boat, and as a result kept getting asked "do you know where your going", which we just lied ...
