... During that weekend, we ate very well, there were a lot of fruits and nuts, and the meals Barry's parents cooked for us were plentiful. I also tasted the best 炒面 (Chao Mian, or fried noodles) I've ever had. When I thought the weekend couldn't get any better, we were served Chinese tea, and it was definitely the greatest tasting tea I've ever tasted.

I hope I will keep seeing and discovering new things to share with you,

Until next time !

... day, really warm and sunny.

We got back and had a lovely evening with Silvie at home as she had cooked a lovely Morroccan curry and couscous.

Very relaxing weekend!

We are both in Ningbo for the rest of the week visiting all three of our centres.

In the evening we went to a restaurant and wine bar to meet up with Aly and Zephyr (Silvie's lovely art and English ...

... s birthday, so Eric and Barry surprised him at a KTV, which is a very popular place in China where you can rent rooms to do Karaoke. There was cake and snacks and we just sang songs in Chinese and English all night long. This night was definitely some of the most fun I had since I arrived in China, and I'm looking forward to spending more time with Barry and the gang

Many more great experiences are surely in store for me and I look forward to sharing them.

Back to lectures...

Sadly Hong Kong marked the end of our travels, and when we got back to Ningbo on Monday night we had to sort our selves out ready to start lectures properly in the morning. The others (Hayden, Becky, Hannah, Luis and Antonia) had arrived earlier in the day but by the time we'd gone for supper at Yummy on the way back to building 18 they'd crashed out from the jet lag and travelling all day. We saw them all on Tuesday when we caught up over supper and told them ...
