... By the end of the day, we had been up for close to 19 hours! J and D had some trouble staying awake at the show . . . :-(

On the bus trip to our hotel, Lucy, our local guide filled us in on the history of her city. Xian was the capital of China for many years . . It is loaded with high rise buildings! Some different from our hometown of Smithfield! :-). One interesting bit of trivia Lucy shared with us - along the ...

Atlanta, Georgia to Tri-Cities - one hour flight

I think this is 30 plus hours of travel. Keep in mind that we crossed twelve time zones during this travel. We ate so many meals at so many different times that I can remember what I ate when. Welcome jet lag!

We were so happy to see the Tri-Cities Airport. Homeward bound!

    ... friends.
Since we don't celebrate this day our friend Apple decided to gather us foreigners and take us on a loooong hike through Xinchang County. It took a few hours to get there by bus, but definitely worth it. Saw huge green tea fields, old local people in the plantations, beautiful scenery, and of course wonderful company. All in all it was a wonderful experience to remember. Hope you enjoy the pictures ...
