... 4-5 storie buildings all connected, but barely any people. About 1/3 of the shops were closed (or more) and there were probably more buildings and cars than people. It was weird. So I found this cheapish hotel and I've just been relaxing. Tomorrow, I think that I'm going to the Nanxi River. If I have time, I'll also drop by the Rice Mirrors.

... days in advance. I also learned that they will charge you and make you feel like you got the tickets but then email you and let you know the train seats weren’t available. I wanted to go to a small town called Luoyang and then to these stone buddists carvings called Longman Caves, and then take a sleeper train from Luoyang to Shanghai. I was about to give up and just skip the Longman Caves, but as I was having the receptionist at the hostel write down ...

Atlanta, Georgia to Tri-Cities - one hour flight

I think this is 30 plus hours of travel. Keep in mind that we crossed twelve time zones during this travel. We ate so many meals at so many different times that I can remember what I ate when. Welcome jet lag!

We were so happy to see the Tri-Cities Airport. Homeward bound!

    ... friends.
Since we don't celebrate this day our friend Apple decided to gather us foreigners and take us on a loooong hike through Xinchang County. It took a few hours to get there by bus, but definitely worth it. Saw huge green tea fields, old local people in the plantations, beautiful scenery, and of course wonderful company. All in all it was a wonderful experience to remember. Hope you enjoy the pictures ...

So far everything has been going swimmingly, the right stamps issued by the right departments, just one more to get, and Ted rang to say he wants to meet at Gregs apartment...

The last government department said NO to Teds application to sponsor a Z visa and residence permit application. No explanation, I meet or exceed their requirements, no reasons listed for the declined application... Just No.

So I am on a job hunt again!
