We were invited out with some of the staff on Tuesday night to Laowi Town to a quiz night which was good fun. We then met Silvie, the CP at Munchner Biergarten, the German bar on Wednesday and the Italian restaurant Thursday evenings.
Ningbo is a lovely city, built on 5 rivers, so was a trading post and from the hotel room you can watch the barges go up and down the river. There are loads of fantastic bars and restaurants and it is now quite trendy.

After seeing Mount Putuo, we headed on to Zhoushan and the Luting Grand Hotel. Concert number three followed shortly. It was not as cold as in Ningbo, but the audience was also not as engaged.
