... just as I remembered from nearly 20 years ago. Why hasn't Australia caught up with this trend?

Breakfast the next day was quick and early, as we were trying to beat the crowds at the Minoan Palace of Knossos. We stopped at a local cafe, N got Bougatsa (a custard filled pastry deliciousness), and I got a cheese one. We caught the bus and were at the Palace before most of the crowd, by the time we were 30 mins into our exploration, the tours arrived, and it ...

... year anniversary with a cruise to Venice and the greek isles and just sat awhile and relaxed. After a couple hours, we decided to get on the road again. We wanted to go back to the charming village of Megalachori and eat at one of the little tavernas and take a few more photos. ... them. All 3 of us had never done this before and it was rather funny. We first had our feet washed and then we put on slippers to walk to where we were going to sit and then we put our feet into the tanks. The feeling is like a ripple of electric current and it tickles. We then went our separate ways as I needed to get our ferry ticket and they needed to do something else. When I got back to the room Daniella was ready to go and we made our way to the local ...

... much different to what I expected, coaxing and then yelling encouragement at Jazzvoula to make it up some steep hills or passing a small panda. At one stage both Shelley and I are rocking back and forth helping to push our gutless little car forward. It must have looked funny as we were trying to pass another car on the flat on the wrong side of the road as an on coming car got closer and closer. Arriving at Kalamabaka around 3:30pm, it's too late and too hot to do anything else for ...
