Our first real "rest" day. Almost a sleep in, then did the washing, then a walk into the small town of Potos for lunch facing the beach. Fresh anchovies, and stuffed calamari! Walked back and a snooze before the rain drove us inside. Time to do some route planning and work on the itinerary, not finalised for the whole year before we left ...

... the Archangel has been known to appear. A pilgrimage destination of some note, We are now camped at Pefkari, at another camp ground that is not "open" I yet. No water connected to gents' toilet /shower block. Four other motorhomes here, all from Germany and 3 with large dogs. A long beach with rocky headlands to ourselves. Traded 'urban surf' elsewhere for real surf to rock us to sleep. So rest day ...

... oriented, it was of little use to us. The map looked like a maze and would be fine for those arriving by bus and walking because the 'roads' were really just pedestrian ways. Only a few were open to cars. Here in the middle of the maze somewhere was our Istanbul Pansiyon.
