We visited a carpet weavers cooperative which makes carpet by hand the old fashion way, a dying art. Some pieces take as much as six months to complete, with over two million knots, priced at thousands of dollars. I bought a small woolen rug, paying way more than I wanted.

My internet connection isn't good enough to upload photos, but I promise I'm alive and well. I'm sitting on a beach right now, and that's about as good as it gets. :) We leave Lesvos today for Ayvalik for the night and then TROY which is really cool. Only 2 more weeks!

Van Chios naar Lesbos

Maar voor ons ontwikkelen zich onweersbuien, de lucht trekt helemaal zwart dicht, achter ons is er volop zon, we weten wat ons te wachten staat.
