    ... Best night ever!!!!!! Thursday - we hired a quad bike today which was so much fun!! We drove around the island and up the mountain which had amazing views of the whole island! We then drove to Kamari beach and just chilled out on the sun beds for a few hours until we had to return the bike and 6pm! We got some snacks and then caught our transfer to the airport! Santorini airport was crazy small and there was sooo many people ...

    ... good size mountains. The island is shaped like a moon and yesterday we had finished our ride in Oia for the sunset which is at the top of the moon. Today were heading to the other end of the moon.

    When we got to the end of the road and the red beach, we were on the water level with more of the large black boulders and the striped variations of blue in the water. There was no red beach here but a sign pointing up a path for the red beach. Up we went. ...

    ... there is a system of walkways so people can see the sites that have been excavated while work continues.
    It is possible to see the original streets, houses and rooms that housed items such as pots.

    We walked down to the black and red beaches afterwards and saw the beautiful red cliffs that go down to the beach.

    ... take an ATV to Oia OR do an excursion (it had a few stops: volcano, hot springs, dinner on the boat followed by the sunset in Oia, home by 8) . Neither of them sounded too bad when I first inquired. At one point the parchment paper our lamb was cooked in went flying when the waitress collected our plates. She ended up passing along the leftover morsels to a local dog who patiently waited at the restaurant entrance.
