    ... little rain. Water is trucked around from desalination plants and all water for drinking is bottled. There are lots of vineyards but no trellising for the vines. All the grapevines grown like ground covers on the dirt, with the trunks wrapped around in a circular pattern and just left on the ground.     Ours is in the courtyard onto the pool and Ruth's at the front. All of them are different and comfy and clean. Still having problems with Greek beds but nearly time to come home.
    I said I wasn't moving and ordered pizza delivery for lunch. The others went walk for a walk and didn't get back till 830. Lucky it was a big pizza!

Kathy has had enough of this nonsense and high tails it out of here and charges up the few hundred steps to the top of the island and back, interesting way to work off lunch.     ... to our greek family was no fun at all. The entire hostel staff had been amazing. Villa Manos, just outside of Fira - GO THERE! Poppy and her husband gave us a bottle of red wine and sent us on our way with Tolis to catch our ferry. Instead of the 6 hour ferry, we decided to take the 2 hour ferry back to Crete. Man, that Flying Cat 4 was fast. Let's just say that A LOT of people on that boat were feeling the sea sickness.....
