Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany marggraf... most of which are of Jager bottles. Since Jager is such a popular drink here and I've been seeing bottles laying on the streets like crazy, I've decided to start keeping a sort of photo diary of them. The jager photos that I'm posting are from only 3 days in the altstadt. Day 1: 2 photos, Day 2: 7 and Day 3: 8. Eventually I might create a photo gallery website for all of them because I have a feeling that it's going to become a quite large album....

Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany cariverga... all-we-could-eat, home-made strudel! Meanwhile, I went on a wild scavenger hunt across the city in an attempt to find an internet cafe where I could print out my graduate school application. Wish me luck!
After Salzburg, Katie and I would once again part with the rest of the crew for a few days while they traveled the Black Forest. But before we split, we all had to share a liter of beer or so in the Hofbrauhaus (Katie may never have heard of ...
Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany jluetkehans... My family, Mexican food, Campgrounds, lakes, oceans and margaritas.

15.) Have you been on the autobahn? Yes, any freeway is called "the autobahn" Sometimes there are speedlimits and sometimes there aren't. People drive fast, it's not as thrilling as it sounds...really. The fastest I think any car has gone while I've been in it so far has been around 135 mph which is equal to around 220 km/hr.

Did I forget to answer anything?

Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany torilusk... back for more! Don't knowwhy I was so hungry but it was crazy! He didn't even see me eat the food on my plate! We wandered around the city into Neumarkt square and the next day we saw the big two-towered cathedral. The old town has tiny streets that lead down to the Rhine. We enjoyed the city- it has a cool atmosphere and is very pretty.
(Steve)

After Naples it was time to head north and say goodbye to sunny Italy. We stopped over in Florence and ...
Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany steveandwhitney... We've been getting along really well but I can't help but laugh at her for being a bit motherly towards me. The kids and I have also been getting along although I'm not exactly looking forward to sitting in the car for them for 5 hours this weekend :-/ We're going to take them to Lego land in south Germany. I'm trying to pretend to be as excited as they are, but it's not Disney we're talking about here and it's cold, not ...

Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany cariverga... grass I've ever seen. It was the most idyllic landscape I'd ever seen.
Once reaching Westport and joyously reuniting with Jeff and Sarah, we drove to Sarah's house (it took me a while to get used to sitting on the wrong side of the road. The wild Irish driving style did nothing to assuage my nerves). I was further astounded. Sarah's house is a huge, rambling, stone structure. It is hundreds of years old and covered in ivy. On one of the walls inside, there is a ...

It's early in the mornin' so I'm having my coffee with the old folk! It's fun but I'm not exactly into the weinerschnitzels. There are so many grandmas and grandpas looking at me right now. It's hilarious. Ha! In Santiago I wouldn't even be home from the bars yet!
