    We weren't being cooked alive this morning which was a treat due to some excellent pine trees (I have no idea what trees they were really) covering our patch of tent until 8.30. So we had a 'lie in' and cologne or koln as the Germans call it was in sight a mere 19 miles to cologne before lunchtime was the plan.
